more super-cool performances from Shounen Club. people probably have seen this a million times, but i'm not sick of it yet XD it was one of the first chibi perfs that i saw... after all the WISH and Kitto Daijoubu... this one was a surprise. this song is just awesome.

i miss the "gangster era" stuff... i know they're supposed to be pop and everything... but to release something like this or a Day in our Life again... COOL & SOUL is probably the closest thing they have, but no single T^T (i LOVE it when they sing it live though XD)

Ohno's capoeira is awesome... i saw a capoeira performance at uni and it took my breath away. they had faster paced music but still i couldn't help but think of Riidaa's All or Nothing level up *arasick* i admire the way he just sings straight after and even though his voice is strained, he's still pitch perfect.
Jun is good at this type of dancing =P he puts too much effort into the easy stuff and gets made fun of for it =(
Aiba's hair is so shaggy =P makes me want to pet him XD but i like the way it curls ^^
Sho muscles on display too XD he looks so hardcore <3
and Nino doesn't look like a little kid! =P

btw, the other day, in my lecture notes there was the phrase "all-or-nothing"... i couldn't help but write "ver 1.02" on top ^^;

but this time from when they were young =P

i love Jun's Jidai era hair - it's so cool XD and Nino's dancing isn't as lazy hahaha. and chibi Aiba (yeah i REALLY like chibi Aiba - i dunno, he's just much much cuter). Ohno is pretty kakkoii in this perf too. and at the end, his vocals are awesome. Sho... well, i'm not crazy about the hair, but hehehe. gangster era =P

but yes, i really like this performance. the costumes are pretty decent, even if they reveal hints of scrawny flesh >< but the song, and the dance... ^^v

you know, i really don't mind Nino's longish hair... despite popular opinion hahaha. i adore the fluffy puppy look XD so Nino i don't mind if you don't cut your hair anytime soon... just know there's a point where longish hair looks ridiculous before it starts to look good again =P

speaking of longish hair... i was going through the 2005 era and found this performance. it's one of those MS specials where
1) they perform a medley
2) they perform on a really cool set
3) they perform in front of an audience
4) they go through said audience

i love the arrangement they have for A.RA.SHI - and Oh-chan is in fine form XD

a Day in Our Life... i think it's no secret that i love this song XD i didn't at first i have to admit, but now it's definitely one of my favourites ^^ and Sho still is saying "all the ladies, all the ladies, all the ladies in the house" <3 Aiba, Nino and Sho shaking their butts - hot~ of course Jun gets close to Riidaa like he does almost every time they sing this song XD and omg they dance at the end *_*

Sakura Sake... it's definitely a song for raising your tension XD Nino and Sho look so rock XD and the sakura kirei na~

anyways it's definitely a treat at nearly 6 mins *_*
oh and here's flailing Nino with his flailing hair =P

i really enjoyed watching this performance if only for the songs they sing.

but then there's the oh-so-hilarious faces they make at the beginning. very Hadashi no Mirai =P

and i've always loved Tomodoinagara. it's a beautiful song <3

but Kotoba Yori Taisetsuna Mono. i didn't really like the song at first, thinking it was a bit bland, but now it's up there. and the dance is so dynamic XD

Arashi circa 2001. Performance of Deep na Bouken on Shounen Club. i downloaded it from Clubhouse Arashi ages ago. i'm not a big fan of the song so i don't watch it that often but...

is that Toma i see?! (jr fans help!)

they do look very young... except Nino who hasn't changed XD i think they are more serious in their younger performances - maybe something to do with the dance?
