i'm not afraid to admit the fact that i love Arashi, even if people look down on me or make fun of me.

i will never ever stop loving them.

i was bawling buckets at what Sho said... because i know what he means. lots of people look down at idols because they are perceived as having no talent, which in the case of our boys we know is not true ^^ those people, who may or may not be intellectual snobs, don't understand the appeal of something as wonderful as Arashi. they mean a lot to me, and in so many ways... they make me feel so many things i can't describe... they make me want to be a better person, because they work so hard for so little... it makes me a bit more motivated than before. they cheer me up when i'm down; they tell me to keep going when i want to give up; they give so much to us that i only want them know that they are truly appreciated. it's so great that they finally get the recognition for the 8 years of hard work they've done... i'm so proud to be an Arashi fan.

i'm not embarrassed to admit my fandom, but it's something that i can't talk about with some of my closest friends because they look down on them, which really saddens me. as for advertising it... i only go as far as blogging about them, displaying their pics everywhere, listening to their songs all the time and singing them at karaoke, but that's mostly coz i'm a very private person... before Arashi, i never did anything that showed my interests that overtly. most of the time, i don't even talk about the books or manga that i like, unless it's something that someone else has read. anime, tv and drama are slightly different because they tend to be widely disseminated amongst my friends to begin with. but even those things, it's not often that i do talk about them.

i will always love Arashi, no matter how many people make me feel sad about loving them, no matter what happens to them, and no matter the state of my wallet.
