and what better way to celebrate than with a pic spam to show how much little he's changed XD

First of all,

As any Arashi fan would know, there are certain colours which are associated with each member. And recently, the Arashi Around Asia pamphlet has depicted them as animals, which may or may not have any relation to their personalities ^^; however, the colours that they are most often shown with do have some aspect of their personality represented. Of course, this is only my interpretation of colour symbolism, which can vary from culture to person. For me, these colours now mean the people that they represent.

Ohno is blue, which is the colour of the sea, where he increasing spends more and more of his time, and the sky, a symbol of freedom, the freedom of expression in his art and dance. Blue is the calm colour, which is perfect for someone who is unruffled by strange sights or unexpected events. A soothing and harmonious colour, it shows the one who at peace with himself and has the most comfortable relationships in the group.
In the AAA pamphlet, Ohno is shown to be a flamingo. Flamingos are graceful creatures, and this can be related to Ohno’s dancing skills. And of course the fishing aspect can’t be discounted. But the flamingo’s flamboyance is more Jun than anyone else.

Sho's self-confessed favourite colour is red, the colour of passion and love. Love for his group is coupled with his passion for his work, especially the intellectual side of it. Red is also a feminine colour, making it perfect for the colour of the mama of the group. His famed temper and anger in the past isn't to be taken lightly either. Red is a strong and powerful colour, suited for one with a strong personality and will. Of course, the strength is physical too - but that part is debatable. Ironically, red is associated with physical speed, but for Sho it's mental speed that counts.
Stags are majestic animals, often associated with leadership and strength. It’s only natural that the one that displays the most leadership qualities is represented by a stag in the AAA pamphlet. Stags are often seen as a symbol of masculinity, and Sho is the most “man” of the five.

Aiba is mostly associated with green, the colour of nature. This of course relates directly to his work with animals, but it also refers to his "naturalness" on screen and with people. Green is the colour of youth, and Aiba exudes youthful enthusiasm in everything he does. His manners and politeness are perfectly represented by the colour of sincerity. "Highness" is also symbolised by the colour of marijuana, so it's only natural that Aiba is completely crazy at times.
Owls are symbols of wisdom... and Aiba isn’t the type that exudes wisdom. However he can be a hidden genius, and his affinity with nature is one aspect of the intuition that the owl represents.

Nino's usual colours are yellow or orange, which is ironically the colour of optimism, and Nino is a rather pessimistic person. But yellow is the colour of intelligence, and Nino's wit is an example of his intelligence. And you cannot say that someone who manages to pick up so many skills is not intelligent or talented. Yellow is the colour of gold, symbolising wealth, which is Nino's overriding concern most of the time. Friendship is symbolised by yellow, and Nino places great value in his friendships, not only within the group, but outside it as well. Orange can also mean playfulness, and Nino tends to play. A lot.
In the AAA pamphlet, Nino is a monkey, which is perfect for his mischievous and playful personality. They are also noted for their cleverness, and Nino is not only clever with his wit and repartee, but with his fingers - as shown by his skill with the guitar and magic cards.

Jun is most often represented with purple, the royal colour, which is very much suited to our prince or "hime". The mysterious side of his personality, his private life that even his fellow members are unsure about, is represented by purple. Purple is a sensual colour, and Jun is a very sensual person, relying not only that aspect of his image, but on his actual senses in his work. Purple is also very flamboyant, and Jun is the very definition of flamboyant at times. As a side note, purple is the colour that symbolises homosexuality or bisexuality.
The royal theme continues in the AAA pamphlet, with Jun shown to be a lion, the king of animals. Pride and arrogance also can be seen as the lion’s forte, and Jun does show this occasionally. He can be fierce in his temper and his loyalty, just like a lion with his group.
