NTV Olympic song is going to be sung by Arashi, called 「風の向こうへ」 to be released on the 20th of August. (thanks Jen-san!)

ok, now i bet you're wondering about 「truth」 and 「Green」? coz of the rumours that it was going to be released together on the 27th. i just can't help but think that if it were true, it would be horrible timing on the jimusho's part.

in any case, 「Hero」 was the last Olympic song they did, and that was released as a maxi single with 「瞳の中のGalaxy」, which was the theme song for Nino's drama, Minami-kun no Koibito. the B-side for that was 「Hey Hey Lovin' You」, with no tie-ups (at least none that i know of). so that was released on 2004.08.18.

so a direct comparison:

「瞳の中のGalaxy」 = Nino drama        「truth」 = Ohno drama
「Hero」 = Olympic song                     「風の向こうへ」 = Olympic song
「Hey Hey Lovin' You」 = B-side           「Green」 = B-side
2004.08.18 = release date                  2008.08.20 = release date

so now the question about the RE and LE versions. 瞳の中のGalaxy|Hero was released with two LEs with one of the PVs each, and the RE had all the karaoke tracks. let's just hope that they'll do the same again right?

btw, don't take this as fact. i'm just deducing the most likely course of action based on past information. since there has been no official annoucement made for 「truth」's release as a single, it's also likely that they'll push back the release to a lot later.

20th of August is pretty soon, don't you think? time to get out our wallets again...
