Basic Tarot Story

As the Fool leaves the throne of the Goat God, he comes upon a Tower, fantastic, magnificent, and familiar. In fact, The Fool, himself, helped build this Tower back when the most important thing to him was making his mark on the world and proving himself better than other men. Inside the Tower, at the top, arrogant men still live, convinced of their rightness. Seeing the Tower again, the Fool feels as if lightning has just flashed across his mind; he thought he'd left that old self behind when he started on this spiritual journey. But he realizes now that he hasn't. He's been seeing himself, like the Tower, like the men inside, as alone and singular and superior, when in fact, he is no such thing. So captured is he by the shock of this insight, that he opens his mouth and releases a SHOUT! And to his astonishment and terror, as if the shout has taken form, a bolt of actual lightning slashes down from the heavens, striking the Tower and sending its residents leaping out into the waters below.

In a moment, it is over. The Tower is rubble, only rocks remaining. Stunned and shaken to the core, the Fool experiences grief, profound fear and disbelief. But also, a strange clarity of vision, as if his inner eye has finally opened. He tore down his resistance to change and sacrifice (Hanged man), then broke free of his fear and preconceptions of death (Death); he dissolved his belief that opposites cannot be merged (Temperance) and shattered the chains of ambition and desire (The Devil). But here and now, he has done what was hardest: destroyed the lies he held about himself. What's left is the bare, absolute truth. On this he can rebuild his soul.

Basic Tarot Meaning

With Mars as its ruling planet, the Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower, as Wang points out, stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." When the Querent gets this card, they can expect to be shaken up, to be blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.

Thirteen's Observations

No card scares a Tarot reader like the Tower - or the person they're reading for if that person knows anything about Tarot cards. It is however one of the clearest cards when it comes to meaning. ahhh today it was kinda childminder class related cuz the sensei brought a toy to learn how to spell words *a Mickey Mouse one XDDD*  so everyone was gathered around it as if it was magic or something XDDDD  and we were waiting for her to let us play with it, but since it was supposed to be an example to teach us something else only the staring guy had the chance to play with it... -_-

apart from that it was a very normal class

Yeah...so a travel program had a story on HK. Not surprising, since the HK shopping festival is coming up soon. So naturally, I watched it, just to see if they had anything new. I was about to turn it off, when they started talking about a presidential suite. And guess what, it's the suite that was used in HYD Final.

New resolution: to earn enough for a stay in that suite for a night. 5 bedrooms, private gym, pool, sauna and steam room...sounds like a great place for a party! xD

LOL.. he started making this weird sound.. then i turned over.. and there he was.. 10 inches away from me.. grinding his teeth XDDD then.. he started twitching.. then.. he grinded and twitched at the same time.. then.. i was quite certain he was dreaming cause he was making faces to me XDDD indeed you see something new everyday while keeping a pet.. not to mention one cute as pummie..

and why am i posting this? hahahaha.. welllllll.. i'm sure the more arasick ones already realized.. but just to be on the safe side.. haha i couldnt help but wonder if Sho kun twitched when he was grinding his chipmunk assets.. HAHAHA i love it that i have a cat who grinds XDDD what joy there is to be had.. even if i'm literally a ocean away from Sho san..

this time.. Sakurai visited the Shinjuku 高島屋's "custom made Fragrance" corner.. there are 127 kinds of 'essence' (smells) here where you can mix together to create your very own original perfume/cologne.. with the advice and help of the store keeper.. let's get started!

first Sho kun had to find the type of 'smell' he prefer thus sampling various 'essences'.. however midway sampling it's been too many and he lost sense of what he was smelling.. heh 「たくさん嗅いでるうちに、途中で香りがわからなくなるんだよな ...」in order to refresh his sense of smell faster thus introducing special item "coffee bean".. the smell nicely refreshed him and he was revived (laugh).. in the end he ended up choosing from the 'lavender series'.. there are 3 layers to the final result.. there is the top note that is about 30 minutes long.. then there is the middle note that takes about 2 to 3 hours.. then what is left is the base note.. first.. he had to select for the base.. he chose 'musk' and had 10 ml in a test tube.. it was nostalgic.. like a chemistry experiment (laugh) 「うわ、懷かしい! 理科の実験みたい (笑)」afterwards he had to choose for the middle note.. he had to first smell the base note then visualize the smell.. his first choice was vanilla.. thus tried 5 ml on the practice paper.. a hint of vanilla「ほんのりバニラ ♥」.. he also chose a smell close to 白檀 (sandalwood).. and repeated the appropriated steps w/o trouble.. lastly he selected something from the orange family.. trying rosemary essence on the practice paper.. the results was something similar to the cologne that he normally wears..

the main reason for this particular project was because of Sakurai's "the cologne i've been using has been with me for about 4 years.. (i) feel that it cant be helped but to find a new one" 「いま使っている香水が使い始めて4年くらいだから、新しくしようかなと思って」.. the one that he currently wears is somewhat of a fresh musky type.. but to continue with his choice of the middle note.. for a smell of the sea.. he chose jasmine essence.. it had a good feel.. as a alternative there was also oriental jasmine.. perhaps simply because he likes jasmine tea (laugh) is it that this entire time it was just to fulfill his insatiable needs (!?) in the end.. it was citrus he decided on.. and after serious consideration.. also a bit of mint and green tea essence.. all in all there were about 17 essences all blended into one.. a total of 100 ml.. smelling the final result again he is now certain that the choice to include mint essence was correct.. most definately the smell that he was looking for.. finally to name his very own cologne.. "the issue date of this duet is on 七夕? jya.. 彦星 then!" .. so it was decided.. 『Hikoboshi』's recipe was then handed to the professional to tweak and mature.. it would take about a month for the diploma to be issued..  for September's Arashi tour around Asia.. this item may become one of the key factors to a pumped up atmosphere.. 気分を盛り上げるアイテムのひとつになるかもしれません。

i cant really tell if there is a difference in reference in japanese as to perfume and cologne.. but just for my sake i used the word cologne cause perfume and cologne really are different to me ^_^; haha.. gosh i'm so curious as to what he wears.. RAWR.. want to know want to know want to know.. XDDD want to smell want to smell want to smell.. *giggles*

i skipped writing out the step by step procedures Sho kun talked about just because it's too much of a pain in the butt and i really didnt see the actual point in doing it.. lols sorrrrrry.. it's been a while since i've done a translation.. so it probably is rusty as i am quite rusty.. XD but.. i suppose if you dont mind my half ass japanese as well as my half ass english.. and pretty much love Sho kun no matter what.. i hope this had been enjoyable 8D as most everything is to me when it has to do w/ Arashi and Sho kun ♥
